| Andrey's
books have given me an inside look into how today's GS competitors
train in Eastern Europe. Most of the information available in
the US is either 15 years out of date or it is written by people
who have very little experience with GS competitions. I own all
of Andrey's books and have made great progress
using his training methods!

This short and to-the-point
book caused me to grab a pair of bells and train right away. It
focuses on delivering an approach to "upping" the numbers
in the kettlebell sport competition style snatch and jerk. Everything
in this book is geared to upping the total reps on snatches and
jerks. You won't find any filler in here. Andrey basically uses
a "just the facts ma'am" style of delivery, which is
good news to anyone hoping to learn a results-are-what-counts
approach to snatching a 32kg bell 50R/50L, or jerk a pair for
60+ reps. Enter the land of the super-performer. This pathway,
a very specific one, is for the lifter who wants to one day stand
proud at a prestigious competition and put up some numbers. I
would have liked to have seen more photos, such as Andrey in a
sequence shot snatching or jerking, but all of that is covered
on the wall chart. However, he does have a photo for every assistance
exercise, and the peaking cycles are crystal clear. Thumbs up.
The book briefly describes the lifts, but more interestingly,
offers assistance work for both lifts that I had not seen or thought
of before. Additionally, various peaking schemes are presented.
Again, this is narrowly tailored to making you a better competitor.
Anything wrong with that? The back of the book displays a series
of charts/rankings based on rep totals. My advice: don't look
back there if you are already having a bad day. The numbers will
depress the hell out of you! Very motivational though...
I encourage you to read Andrey's books
if you are serious about competing in GS sport. Andrey lays out
a "no frills" methodology that works. I have improved
my GS score from 35 with a 24kg bell to
65 in a little over two months training
with Andrey's methods. The methods are simple
and to the point, and that's why they work. Buy his books today!!!
